What are the most popular American dogs?

Dog breeds were created to satisfy certain needs of humans. Breeds combine the best of different dogs and then crosses between dogs of the same breed are maintained to reinforce and preserve these characteristics.

American dog breeds are a combination of other dogs brought from Europe and even Asia. Thus, we can say that the local is mixed with the “outsider”, to create a race that will later be liked by many around the world.

The most popular American dog breeds are:

The American Dingo or Dixie Dingo is a wild breed found by an ecologist in Savannah River. Its appearance is similar to the Australian Dingo (hence its name). Its body is long and tall, the coat is ginger in color, the ears are erect, the tail is hook-shaped and the eyes are black. Reserved and cautious with humans, it can be affectionate if you give him some time.
