In total, there are no less than 20 national parks in Patagonia, stretching from Chile to Argentina. Obviously, they are all located in the south of the planet and stand out for their great biodiversity.

Reserved areas protect the natural heritage of a region. Furthermore, they allow us to learn a lot about flora and fauna, as well as history and culture.

In this article, we’ll talk about some of the many national parks in Patagonia, south of South America.

How many national parks in Patagonia are there?

The biodiversity and beauty of the landscapes have made it one of the most visited places in the country.

As a result, it was selected as the eighth wonder of the world in 2013. However, due to recurrent forest fires caused by tourist neglect, many of the most visited areas have deteriorated considerably in recent years.
